Wests Tigers Macarthur District Junior Rugby League (WTMDJRL) commenced its inaugural year in 2019, with a year full of learning and understanding the current state of play of grassroots sport. With a rich history of Rugby League led by the previous Western Suburbs District Junior Rughy League, we have a duty to uphold and continue that legacy as the newly formed Wests Tigers Macarthur JRL.
We aim to grow and create our own rich history in the region. Moving into our second year, we will continue leading our clubs with clarity and focus on each incoming season. As we progress we endeavor to cement our position as a leading Junior Rugby League district in NSW focusing on growing participation, community engagement, player and coach development and well as striving for cultural change for a positive future of Rugby League.
The Wests Tigers Macarthur District Junior Rugby League manages competitions in the junior under 6 to 12 years age groups and assists NSW Rugby League in the management of the conference competitions incorporating the under 13 years to open age groups, including Women’s Competitions and League Tag.
The competition consists of 12 junior rugby league clubs from the Campbelltown and Liverpool areas, encompassing Macarthur Saints in the south to Hinchinbrook in the north. The competition boundary is bordered by Group 6, Parramatta and Canterbury-Bankstown Districts.
